  1. Spurs playing with a chance to go to the top of the table alone has me nervous for today.

There has been some fan chatter that we should go after Nate Miller as our head coach next year. Trevor James is moving on to be our Director of Football and we will need a coach. Not sure if he would come back to the Midwest or not, know he is originally from PA and played college in Indiana.

Having every seed be represented in the second round of the playoffs is kind of wild. Love that this league is so competitive after you get rid of a few teams at the bottom.

Lyon losing to Clermont is also mad. They're now bottom of the table, haven't won a game, and are six points from safety.

  12. Richarlison sending in some nice crosses from the left today. Probably his best game starting at LW so far.

  13. Son so good in the CF role

  14. Just realized we play on Friday. Kinda weird we’d be scheduled for Monday and then Friday.

Please Spurs, keep delivering and don't let Liverpool win the league.

City will win it regardless, you’re safe.

  18. This isn’t a shot at Raya, but I’m glad we ended up with Vicario. He’s been incredible. And he was much cheaper.

Udogie was subbed off too early for me to get max fantasy points for Spurs clean sheet so the whole team can burn now for all I care

Finally watched the first episode of the Beckham documentary and I couldn’t stop laughing at how they introduced Diego Simeone like he was Darth Vader.

Also, I forgot how 10/10 Victoria and David were back then. An unbelievably attractive couple.

seeing that Jordan Henderson and Gerrard's team played to less than 700 fans yesterday had me thinking there's no way that's true, what an absurdly low number

in fact, it might actually be generous!

i've attended high school soccer games with more fans in attendance (well, maybe not, but certainly close!)

I was trying to describe myself to someone

I've been watching this too and it gets harder and harder as it goes on. It gets to a point where you've watched a 70 minute episode, which seems to have covered a decent period of time, been dense with interviews and yet has said absolutely nothing.

The big example in the episode I just watched was that it covered Beckham becoming a mega star and going from England disgrace to captain. The thing is, it gives absolutely no background as to what was going on in football terms. England as a team are not mentioned at all until he's made captain. Similarly there's very little chatter about United (the previous episode talks about the treble) in that period, so you've little feel for what was going on on the pitch or why he was made captain. It's an extremely shallow look at it. Similarly it talks about him almost being sold to Barca, but with no explanation at all. It's bizarre and I suspect that it is just avoiding anything at all where the Beckhams come off in a bad light.

I'll probably drag myself to the finish, in the hopes that I learn something about his club hopping towards the end of his career, but it's feeling extremely shallow and vapid at this point. It also feels excruciatingly stage managed as it goes on.

Yeah all the clips I've seen of it make it seem extremely strange managed and only telling the story that Beckham/ his brand want you to know. Which, fair enough, whatever. But not really for me.
