The annoying thing for me as a United fan is not that we’re a year into Erik’s and we’re still as tactically inept as we were under Ole. We look just as uncomfortable and uncertain when it comes to style of play and fundamentals as Chelsea does, except Erik has had two windows and two preseasons now to really get his team and system into shape. We still only see bits and pieces of the game he’s trying to build to but the frequency and consistency of showing that competent side is just not there.
