I had Foden in my team a few times, then I toyed with Stones and Jack… ultimately I went without a City player other than Haaland. I just don’t want to fool around with the Pep mind games. It’s hard enough as it is without trying to guess who he likes and doesn’t like in a given week.

 

Unless they think they aren’t getting the Caicedo deal done?

 

This is the way. I considered Foden, too, as I mentioned around here but I didn't want to run the risk of him being benched next week v Newcastle.

 

I went with 3 City players lol

Haaland and Ederson are locks for me, especially after Kane’s departure. I also went with Grealish. I’m sure I’ll be annoyed with his rotation but even as a sub he’s a threat for a goal or assist. He was too good last season for me to pass on him at 7.5m.

 

I had Ederson last year but this year for me there were too many good options and I felt like saving the 0.5 was the play.

 

The biggest decision I made was Mudryk over Mitoma. They're both priced the same but literally everyone I know bought Mitoma lol so I am just trying to find 1-2 low % owned bargains that could be sparks. I think Mudryk could breakout with Poch there.

 

I did something similar. I went Diaby over Mitoma for the differential.

 

I'm also very bad at PL fantasy. Below is my starting lineup for now.....if anyone wants to tell me where they'd change things, feel free. I honestly always struggle to pick defenders.

FWD: Haaland, Watkins
MID: Saka, Bruno F, Grealish, Maddison, Mudryk
DEF: VVD, Zinchenko, Udogie
GK: Ederson

Bench: Pickford, Lamptey, Bell, Ferguson

 

At first I tried to go heavy on differential but I didn’t wanna get too cute so I just went with my gut. It was hard to leave Havertz and Maddison out.

 

Honestly, that has the makings of a solid squad. The problem you have is picking rotation risks like Grealish, Mudryk and Ferguson. Also, you don't need Pickford as you'll likely start Ederson every game.

 

I switched our Bernardo Silva from my team today and Foden from my team yesterday. Only City player I've got right now is Haaland.

Def: Gabriel, Stones, Estupinian, Lamptey, Beyer
Mid: Saka, Martinelli, Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Mitoma
For: Haaland, Watkins, Vinicius

Vinicius was a good cheap option if Mitro leaves to refuses to play, and Turner is a cheap starting GK. Fucked it with Stones though.

 

Guess who started sorting out their FPL at lunch, got distracted and then forgot to finish the job!
