Also, was in Bournemouth Mon-Wed this week doing some work stuff at the Vitality. Got taken out for food on the Tuesday evening and one glass of champagne was £347! Thankfully I wasn’t paying lol.

Quite a cool little stadium though, and Bournemouth & Christchurch have some proper nice areas.

WRT Greenwood i’m shocked they haven’t made a decision yet. Everyone knows how people feel about him and what the fall out would be if he’s re introduced. It would’ve been favorable for all parties involved to have had the final decision made early in the summer one way or another so that we can get on with it either way. They’ve had half a year since the case was dropped, so waiting until the day the league resumes to handle this is a bad call.

I say all that with the personal belief that he’s a shit head and I don’t want to see him wear the jersey again btw.

 

Why was the case dropped? I think I missed that.

 

They’ve made the decision imo. They’re just on a PR run.

Witness (his girlfriend and person he raped and abused) withdrew from the process and “new evidence” came to light. Pretty sure that new evidence is they got back together and the woman in question was pregnant with his child.

Somehow this is even worse/gross/sadder than I expected. I was thinking it would be some sort of Partey technicality due to Brexit and the EU or something.

I’ve seen a lot of people mad that we “waited” until 2 days before the season started. And I get it. But the alternative is selling him a couple weeks ago for a good amount less. It sucks regardless. And it’s Levy’s fault we’re in this spot. But considering the current situation, he did well to get that fee.

 

Yeah it’s desperately sad. All I can hope is she’s ok and he has actually changed because it’s an awful situation.

 

Saying this about a £90m bid is bananas. At this point I’m wondering exactly when football, or at least Premier League football, will collapse.
