Wait, why not? Lol do people not remember the Gerrard slip? The Palace game that season? The fact that Liverpool didn't win?

Why will people forget? Like I get that United's achievements are incredible and certainly more noteworthy but I think Liverpool's season is an easy footnote to the season for the foreseeable future.

 

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. People will remember the defining moments. Gerrard's slip, Selhurst Park, Kompany scoring from his first shot on target from outside of the box since 2013. Nobody really talks about how good Liverpool were that season, just that they came so close and lost it.

Nobody remembers United 11/12, the season we lost the league on goal difference. They remember Aguero. I'm not trying to downplay Liverpool's achievements. They've been fantastic. If they beat Barca tonight, and win the CL. They'll be remembered forever.

It's just those small margins from a very good season and a place in the history books.

 

But yeah, fuck Suarez. He should be off.
