    He came, he saw.

Watch Liverpool get an "oil rich" owner now after years of critiquing City (and Chelsea) for the same reason.

I'd imagine any potential bids will be on the back-burner until they find out if Liverpool will be in the Champions League next season. There's room there for a discount.

Just deleted Twitter because Fuck Elon, so... best app to keep up with this sport if you're not on Twitter?

Sofascore is great for keeping up with scores.

Reddit aggregates all the latest news in it's Soccer subreddits. The only downside is sometimes you'll be linked to Twitter, but that should be fine if you just want to read the headline on Reddit and immerse yourself with the comments on Reddit itself. I don't use Twitter and that's how I cope. Oh, and I come on here of course.

    This is so sad….

  7. No Firmino is surprising but I think Brazil will make a deep run.

The difference in quality between their Full Backs and the rest of their squad is obscene. Dani Alves and Alex Telles, jeez

Any winger that's faster than a grandmother with zimmer frame is going to have so much fun attacking that left hand side.

Outside of GK, I wonder how many WC players will be older than Dani Alves

I was trying to describe myself to someone

    No Joelinton, no party!

(Love the idea of Bruno and Joelinton coming back with winner's medals. Just seems mad after the last few years)

Yeah. It's pretty hard to predict how some teams will be post-WC. I think I'd pick PSG over Bayern on current movement, but you know those PSG superstars will slack off after the WC.

This is mad. So that is four games they can't schedule currently, two of which involve City.

I say we make them automatic draws....

Pretty sure we’re in a similar spot if we win in all the cups, that’s unlikely, but stranger things have happened

    @ everyone

Anyone interested in me putting together a World Cup draw again? Ideally, it's 16 or 8 participants, but I can also figure something out if it gets wonky.

Figure we can do a $5 donation to a charity of the winner's choice after Nick did that for the Euros one.

I just put all the games on my calendar and my boss was like, "Your calendar just got really full." Her face was very amused when I told her they're all just reminders.

Let's get these people moving faster!

I made a similar joke in a Newcastle forum earlier. I didn't legitimately expect him to get a squad spot having never represented them (above U17) - but I do think he's better than Fred right now.

Rayo playing well but I’m trying to figure out who will get sent off for antagonising Vini Jr and when that happens

    I’m in.
He probably is, but Fred-Casemiro is Tite’s #1 midfield and has been pretty good for them. He was absolutely nailed on to go
