That's a mistake from Dier worthy on its own of being dropped. Staggeringly bad.

Ngl, I still think this is winnable for Spurs. Liverpool may be leading but they still haven’t blown me away. They look vulnerable at the back too.

 

Kulu on a halftime should help

 

First Liverpool goal was just great by them. Defense could’ve been a little better, but gotta give them credit for great ball movement. After that it was a very even match. Then Dier’s massive mistake probably buried any hope.

That’s the story of the team though. Too many guys who regularly make mistakes like that but get consistent playing time.

Yeah it's been relatively even aside from the two key moments (three if you count Perisic's chance). We had a tactical advantage early on but Spurs sorted it out a little. It's been a relative stalemate for the most part.

Salah receiving the ball in the box is always deadly regardless of all the chat about him being out of form earlier this season. It's only because we weren't giving the ball in good positions that it seemed like that.

 

Why was Dier motioning for Sessegnon to head it back to the keeper from 49 yards out? Did he not learn from his fuck up earlier??

I really like this trio of midfielders. Just missing enough scoring threat up top.
