    hmmm

Barnes, Maddison and Tielemans have been very good.

Everton don't have a clue how to play with Maupay up front.

    He came, he saw.

Maddison must be on the plane for England.

Quite the time for that Toney story to leak.

If it's been investigated for the last seven months without evidence, I doubt it will have any impact on England selection.

    bummer for the LAFC keeper

first time in a while watching a sporting event where they just don’t show a replay because the injury was too severe

Went to my first Bayern game since January 2020 today. Was way closer than it should have been. I guess the VAR ref is a Hertha fan and wanted to make it more interesting. How VAR is handled inside the stadium for the fans is really shitty. No replays shown and you have to guess which situation is actually checked. Scrap that shit.

This is why the Forest incident yesterday is wild. Never have I been at a stadium where they have shown the incident on the screens after a VAR check.

Normally, you get five minutes of standing around confused, followed by a decision. If it is a penalty or a disallowed goal, sometimes you have literally no idea why the decision has been made.

I think they have to improve how it is handled and communicated to the stadium. The incident should be shown on the screen as they review it, snd there should be a 30 seconds/1 minute time cap for a decision to be made.

I can’t believe (while still totally can), that nothing ever came of Partey’s rape case solely because of how Brexit and EU law now interact.
