We weren’t great today, but the refereeing is so, so poor. I know we aren’t meant to have a go at referees, it’s a hard job, etc, but they HAVE to be doing better.

Yeah, I mean I get why they let the goal stand. But Wilson put his arm out and then contact was made. He wasn’t just standing still. He was trying to win the ball. He didn’t. He knocked Lloris over. Should be a foul imo but whatever.

One of the things that has been cool to see is how much our loanees are flourishing.

Balogun scoring goals for fun in a lower mid-table Ligue 1 team, and Charlie Patino being one of the best midfielders in the Championship at 19. Such high hopes for Patino, not seen a centre mid as accomplished as him at his age for a while (ignoring Gavi who is a freakish talent).

Blackpool fans are saying he looks like their best ever player quality-wise already. Plus the fans like him, this chant absolutely slaps.
