Abysmal showing. Same issues over and over again. It’s maddening.

Wolves have now been turned down by their long-term target, their former manager, a free agent and the guy they made first choice when all of the above turned them down.

Think everyone realises they're just a bit fucked.

Genuinely more job security in being manager of Watford than Prime Minister at the moment

    What a fucking shambles

Give it to Dyche or Big Sam to see out the year. We need a relegation specialist.

  11. I’m pretty sure the home team has won every match between the “big 6” teams this season. But when Spurs do it we get articles like this.

Good fucking shit. Only thing better would be if they try make him play with the reserves. That would be so funny

I get what you’re saying and yeah no team has won away in the top 6, but the level of performance all around yesterday is massive cause for concern. It’s all encompassing of every worry I have about this team.

Xhaka becoming Xavi is just so wild to me still.

    He came, he saw.

I'm sure Villa fans are chanting, "we want Gerrard out".

  23. I saw some rumors about Poch taking the Villa job and while I think it's a long shot he'd take it, I think he'd be perfect for them. Their players would work well in his 4231 system. I hope it happen tbh but probably won't.

  25. Yeah, I mean, I don't disagree that it was a very poor performance and a bit worrisome. But at the same time, I don't think it's reason to sound the alarms. I touched on it yesterday, but I think the squad depth a bigger problem than I anticipated when the season started, and it's even more of an issue when you consider Conte seems very strict about not inserting players he doesn't deem ready. It's led to us barely rotating any players and having basically the same XI twice a week. I'm not putting it all on fatigue, but I do think it played a role yesterday. The other part of it is, United just flat out played a terrific game. And they're proving to be a pretty damn good team. And sometimes you get smoked by those teams. What will be telling for me is how they respond this weekend.

Overall, I think we've been a little less quality than what we were expecting when the season started. But we've also had a pretty tough schedule to start. We've dropped points in 4 games: loss away to Arsenal, loss away to United, draw away to West Ham, draw away to Chelsea. And in the 2 losses, we were without Kulusevski. I don't think his absence excuses ALL of the mistakes we made in those matches, but it was also very clear while watching both matches that his impact was greatly missed.

I think we're a good enough team for another top 4 finish and that's where we've been all season. So yes, I expect better than what we saw yesterday, but I think there's been some overreaction to it as well.
