We’re so close to being almost really good. It’s irritating.

    Three headshots this game. Wild.

Ah yeah. Ref stops the play when a Spurs player goes down after being hit in the face but lets Spurs play on when Dalot gets hit in the face. Classic.

  5. When Dier went down the ball had basically been cleared. When Dalot went down we had possession in the box.

  6. Not a great first half though. United look the better team so far. Constant pressure that’ll eventually get them a goal or two.

    That literally doesn’t matter.

  8. Lloris is weird because he makes amazing saves but is always seconds from a massive blunder.

  9. Just curious, if play is stopped with the attacking team in possession that close to goal, how do they resume play? Is it still just a drop ball and go?

  10. Brentford’s defense has been superb.

Can't even enjoy a goal cause the other team I hate the most scored it damn

  12. Just love it when defenders try to deflect a shot that was going to just roll straight to the keeper

  13. dier’s been so fucking bad for a couple weeks now at least

  14. 2 extremely frustrating goals to concede

  15. We had a great summer window but it didn't really address our two biggest needs, CB and AM, and its showing. Dier and Davies are fine players but we need better quality back there. Too often we have poor clearances and goofy errors that result in goals. And with the lack of an AM so many of our possessions just flame out. We've gotten better at passing around the press but we just don't have guys to make that final pass to Kane or Son.

Weird cause everyone assumed Spurs would be good against the big teams but struggle against smaller, low-block teams. But they've been really bad in the big games from what I've seen.

  18. Kulu being out is a big loss. The attack has been noticeably worse without him.

Casemiro has been quality tonight, one of a few. Antony has worked hard, Bruno been fantastic, Martinez excellent as per. Fred has had the type of game I thought he'd have often under ten Hag, been everywhere.

Dalot possibly the pick of the bunch though.

  22. You have to wonder how much fatigue is starting to play a role with Spurs. We barely rotate and have basically the same guys playing every 3 days + Conte always making subs rather late into the game. And tbf to Conte, we don't have a ton of depth. Especially now with Richy and Kulu both out.

I don't think Conte will play someone if he doesn't fully trust them, which I get, but at a certain point that is going to hurt you as the team gasses out.

  23. Last post regarding the game...United looked pretty damn good. Casemiro proving to be a great signing. Same with Martinez. I think they're a top tier striker away from being the next best behind City.

Of course it's a drop ball. How else would you resume?

  25. I mean I figured so lol I’ve just never seen that scenario play out. It just sounds weird lol
