We’re playing so poorly. I think our worst performance this season.

Looks like a penalty to Leeds.

 

We’re all over the place. Leeds look like the best team we’ve played this season weirdly.

 

It looks like Xavi’s bizarre decision to force the only true right back in his squad out to play out of position players and injured has beens is going well.

 

Should be a red but not a penalty. Suspect they give it though.

 

Pep going with a back three in a big game has been activated.

 

I don’t understand that decision. Like no it isn’t a penalty, and I guess cause Gabriel didn’t actually make contact he says it isn’t a red? But there was DEFINITELY a kick out.

Should have been an Arsenal fk and a red for Gabriel IMO.

 

Great to see Salah involved centrally because he's been playing too wide for too long now. There's space in behind and between City's defensive three when we win the ball. Not getting the key passes and switches right in those situations. Long ball is very much on.

Foden taking the safe pass and rejecting plenty of opportunities to run at Milner is helpful for us. City don't have much penetration aside from isolated Haaland runs. Very even game.

 

Gundogan has been outstanding this second half.

 

I didn’t watch el Classico but looking at the line ups and score I’m just going to guess Eric Garcia is still a fraud of a centre back.

 

Why haven't all Liverpool/City games been this good?

Beautiful result. Salah receiving the ball regularly within the width of the penalty area is a good tactic. We should try it more often...

Guardiola overthinks it again. Played to win the midfield battle but they didn't penetrate all that much. Almost no good chances. Ended up overloading the left but little threat on the right, or through the centre. Elliott and Gomez were excellent in protecting Milner.
