I thought Forest looked pretty good for 65 minutes but the goals we conceded were pretty naive and that’s the second home game we’ve given away a stupid penalty. What was Cook doing?! We looked more disjointed when we made the triple substitution but it’s surprising how cohesive that starting line up was.

I am pleased we were competitive and to lose 2-0 to a team of Spurs quality is nothing to be ashamed of. Would have liked to see us get a goal as the Johnson - Gibbs-White - Lingard competition was working well. Just need the final product.

Hoping the Daniel James stuff is a smokescreen lol if he's the guy we're bringing in I'd rather just keep Gil. There have been some rumors that Zaha could be available since he only has a year left on his contract. I think he's probably a guy we're considering as well but it's tricky. It is a good deal on the front end for whoever gets him because of his contract running out bringing down the price....but then you have to give him a new contract and he's going to be 30 years old in a couple months. Depending on the length of said new deal, could end up being a problem down the road.....but could also maybe be worth it? Kane, Son, Kulu, Richarlison, Zaha, Lucas is ridiculous depth.
