I just had the worst decision I've ever seen happen on FM. I'm still in disbelief.

The owner is crazy. No idea how he passed the ‘fit and proper’ test - I think when he took us over he had a charge against him in Greece for match fixing. There are also rumours that he gets referees beaten up over there. Definitely involved in drug trafficking. (He owns Olympiakos as well, for those who don’t know).

I think a lot of the money will be the PL money as well this year. The one thing they seem to be focused on is ensuring the books are balanced. Although no idea how that will look when they’ve spent too much.

I was pleased to see the Gibbs-White deal is actually £25m plus add ons rather than the £44m reported which would have been way too much!

Could United play with a back 3? I feel like Varane Maguire Martinez works pretty well as a back 3 and now with Casemiro as a DM it’d be even better. I just have no clue who they’d play as wingbacks. But it’s not like their fullbacks have been good in a back 4 anyways.

 

They’re even worse as wingbacks.

 

I’ve rumors of Dest and he’d be better as a wingback than in a back 4

 

Think it's more likely we switch to a midfield 3 tbh. I hope so anyway

 

We don’t really have the centre back depth for a back 3. Bailly is going to go, as is Tuanzebe. That leaves us with 4 senior centre backs, plus Jones. We also don’t have the forward depth for a 3-5-2 and a 3-4-3 would leave us in the exact same spot midfield wise as we are now.
