too good for 60 minutes maybe. Brutal finish has made what was initially an awesome showing feel like a loss even if the scoreboard doesn’t show it

  2. Fun ending to the Bayern game

Is every young American going to England now?

Lol. Not sure about the wildest (I guess there are certainly way more complicated languages out there). But of all the languages I speak, it's definitely the most difficult one (English being the easiest by far).

Interesting that English is so easy for you, as I believe it’s considered one of the hardest globally. But also makes sense since we share so much German heritage in the language. (I studied linguistics and literature in college).

I grew up in the '90s with the red Opel-shirt with blue stripes. I wouldn't mind some blue in it. But I also can see why fans don't want it. [IMG]

English just has a very easy grammar. I mean you don't even have different genders for nouns. So nothing to learn to distinguish there. And when you conjugate verbs, it's all the same except for 3rd person singular where you just put an "s" at the end. It doesn't get much easier than that. Also all the different tenses are super easy. Compare that with other languages where you have a different form for everything.

And then there are also the many similarities between German and English words because they share the same root.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Watching the Community Shield yesterday, all I could think is that Liverpool and City have both strengthened in a way which is going to keep them miles clear at the top. Don't see anyone touching either unless the WC really disrupts things or some other drama happens.

  23. I wouldn't be surprised in Spurs swoop into the picture sometime this week if it becomes more clear that Leicester would allow him to leave this window.

  24. Sounds like a great hire for Charlotte. Apparently one of the prominent figures in Porto's academy over the last decade.
