Nunez looks a much bigger positive impact for Liverpool than Haaland for City. Liverpool players know how to play with Nunez up top whereas City look a tad lost. I assume it’ll come to them eventually.

Spurs had a deal nearly set at what 13m two years before? It was heavily heavily rumoured we had a deal in place to sign him for 25m if Villa got relegated the year before he signed for City. Villa surviving raised the price to I think 40m. Yeah it really hasn’t been a great purchase for City and long may that continue. There's a lot of chatter right now about Haaland's struggles but very little about how "perfect" Alvarez looks for a Guardiola side. I thought he was fantastic.
