    I do not exist.

I think it’s very left field too - unexpected completely! I would have definitely returned to West Ham if I was in his position. Someone on Sky Sports speculated that there is the England connection between Southgate and Cooper who was part of the youth set up. Conjecture of course but not beyond the realms of possibility that a Southgate who is known to keep in touch and encouraging players he relied on in the past but dropped, may have advised or recommended a manager he knows well, as a way of suggesting a route back to England. Lingard will have to hit the ground running though to be in with a shot for November though.

Holy shit the pitch here looks absolutely awful and both United and Villa are wearing light coloured away jerseys. This is a mess

Why the fuck are these teams trying to injure our players in fucking pre season :crylaugh: :crylaugh:

Second half has been a rugby game. This pitch is absolutely woeful

De Gea being terrified of claiming any ball in the air is going to cost us again this season

  10. I love how fast we get the ball upfield as soon as there is a change of possession.

  11. Nice goal from Rangers

  12. And my stream died

  13. Harry Kane confirmed good

  14. It's been weird how often Bayern speaks about Kane considering there's been zero indication he wants to leave or that we want to sell him. Bayern comment on it like they're in negotiations for him. It's odd.

All the comments I’ve seen re: Kane have been similar to this.

Also, Bayern is closing a deal on Mathys Tel, a 17 year old striker from France who is arriving with a lot of hype and they’ve already said he will join the first team and see some time. With this, Kane doesn’t necessarily make sense if they like what they see from Tel over the next year along with the Mane/Gnabry two-headed monster.

  16. Most of the quotes I see from Nagelsmann are him swooning for a full minute talking about the idea of Kane at Bayern then saying it’ll be difficult to pull off. I’m sure it’s mostly the German media driving it but all he has to do is give that same quote above and it’d go away. But he keeps talking like they’re actively on the phones for Kane.

One of the reports say the team did reach out to his reps and it was well-received, so there seems to be some level of talks.

there was def a lot of bitterness from juve fans during the de ligt talks as Bayern reps were speaking as tho he was already part of the team. I can see how it rubs other fans the wrong way, for sure.

Bayern tend to do that quite a bit. Not overly awful. But more than is needed

Both the Mane and de Ligt deals were kept quiet until both players had decided it was Bayern or bust. Once the players were set and personal terms were decided, the board seemed to speak more openly about both despite not having agreements w the teams.

I’ve been impressed with the way they’ve handled the transfer window this summer. For the two years I’ve been following closely, all I’ve heard was COVID has kept the purse strings tight and they’ve been super frugal. It’s def more fun this way as a fan.

Random, but is Patterson going to be starting RB for Everton this year? Feel like he was highly rated and obviously with Coleman gradually declining

    Compos mentis

Lampard adores Coleman (he called him the best human being he's ever met) even though his legs have quite clearly gone. That said, Coleman is currently injured so I wouldn't be surprised if Patterson starts the season as first choice RB. A few of our fans think he's still too raw defensively but attacking wise he's got it going for himself.

Debating if he's a reasonable option on FPL. £4m is a bargain for a nailed starter with attacking potential.

2-0 up vs Chelsea so far, with goals from Jesus and Odegaard. Yes please.

Bernardeschi with a goal and assist in his first match for TFC. Only played 45 minutes.

  25. Of course him and Insigne debut against Charlotte. Knew this game over hopeless before it started.
