That is SUPER cool, and I didn't realise that city is what used to be Chang'an. Very cool.

Interestingly, that thing about the sight lines was done as part of the Emirates and pretty pioneering back then.

 

Huge signing for Forest. Can’t believe we’ve signed someone on the level of Lingard. I can’t even remember the last time a Forest signing’s wage was discussed or rumoured, what a strange time to live in, haha!

We’ve got our work cut out to be honest. That’s our 11th signing. I don’t think it always works signing so many players when you get promoted but we were relying so heavily on loans last season we were on the back foot and have had to buy players.

Usually I think it’s hard to gel but there’s something about Steve Cooper and a lot of these players are choosing to come to us because of him and the atmosphere he is creating. There’s that family togetherness. If he can somehow create that with 11 new players then let’s see what happens. Hopefully we’ll be competitive and there will be some fun times along the way…!

Or maybe I’ll wake up and the last four months have been a dream!

 

United are gearing up to spend way, way too much money on Antony.

Beyond belief that they'll spend £68 million on him (if they meet Ajax's asking price) and either cheap out or not sign a midfielder.

There is no way Antony + existing midfielders + maybe Garner is better than 1 or 2 new signing midfielders + existing attackers + Amad/ Garnacho/ Elanga. That's not to even mention wtf is going on at RB.

 

I don't want to be disparaging about Forest, but I'm a bit confused as to how Lingard has ended up there. I would love to know who was genuinely in the conversation to sign him and what other offers he had, because this feels very left field.

If he turns up and puts a shift in though, that's a cracking signing for Forest. Might be an interesting one in FF too.

 

Forest and Lingard is like a dream team designed to ensure Arsenal drop six points to you this season.

Agreed. Especially since his price rose to nearly 7m (if I recall correctly) while at West Ham.
