    pay up

  5. Not watching because I’m not paying $50 for Spursplay just to watch a friendly, but based on Twitter the game seems absurd lol

    Compos mentis

Seems rigged :crylaugh: For example, Son taking a penalty with Kane on the pitch...

    $50 wtf…

though the United game yesterday was free on the website but I still had to use a stream because it kept freezing on me

  8. To be somewhat fair, it’s for a yearlong subscription and comes with some other perks. But none that seemed very appealing to me.

Yeah I wouldn’t do that. I know MUTV usually give a 3 month cut price deal for pre-season. Strange Spurs don’t do similar

  10. I know it’s still Barcelona…..but I find it weird players are pushing themselves there with all the chaos around the club. Players constantly asked to take pay cuts. FDJ being owed 17m (I’m sure others are owed money as well). And yet, Raphinha and Lewa only want to go there. Just doesn’t seem like a place I’d necessarily trust right now.

Was just coming to post this. Couldn't leave the UK if he was the one on bail, so the mystery continues.

I wouldn't read too much into "Barca owes x money" things, fwiw. Barcelona (all La Liga clubs, maybe?) pay salaries twice a year, so it may just be six months wages that he's owed (17m would show the ridiculous wages the previous president was signing people under) for this upcoming payment as opposed to a "they haven't payed him for years" sort of situation.

I was reading it’s due to the pay reduction he had for Covid. Agreed a reduction where it would ramp back up in later years of his contract.

The Partey thing is strange. So, was there just not enough evidence or what?

    feels icky.

  18. If that's the case, wouldn't we have confirmation on whether or not it was him by now?

We would have done the exact same if Greenwood wasn't very publicly outed as an abuser. City did the same with Mendy, on the other hand Brighton and Tottenham were the same with Bissouma.

Looking into it, it looks like UK work laws prevent us from doing anything differently at this point...
