Liverpool have had some world class goalkeeping errors in their favor this year. Lloris today, Pickford, Speroni, etc.

  2. “Massive upgrades” is a bit of an exaggeration. But yeah, we need to change things up. This core has been here long enough and it’s just the same every year. Very solid team but not good enough.

if they dont win the league this year then my god.

another bright side is we can probably kiss goodbye those god awful articles on how Sissoko is having some sort of revitalized season

  7. Sissoko has been great. Whiffing that shot doesn’t change how good he’s been.

he's having an average season for me, speaks to how poor he has been in the past that this is seen as some sort of achievement, though im aware loads of people seem to disagree with me.

If you look at the last few seasons, your next level is actually challenging for the league, and I mean not being in the top three. Then yeah, massive upgrades are needed. I think a lot of your players are at their level now. Lloris for example is a good player but not a league winning keeper, not just based on today. I mean it's March, almost April and you're in relegation form. Changing things up won't take you from this to title challenging.

  10. I think he’s been really good in the deeper role. He makes a lot of good decisions and reads the field well coming out of the back. He’s just not very good in the final third. You can tel he never wants to shoot the ball and it severely limits him there. But overall, I’ve been more than pleased with his season and I want him to stay.

I think the big upgrade is going to be Lloris. He makes some amazing saves but good lord he is inconsistent. He makes massive mistakes so often. Like, literally game changing mistakes. All the time.

  11. Yeah I agree about Hugo (see above post). He costs us so many games. I want to upgrade at keeper and RB the most. Then add another attacker to give some life up top.

Sweet. Young, our captain, has been sent off despite obviously knowing Shaw will miss the next 2 games due to yellow card accumulation. Leaving us with 1 available full back (Dalot).

Going to have to drag Darmians corpse up at this rate.

cazorla is one of the best stories from this season. wonder if he'd still be at arsenal if Wenger stayed

that pass from his own half to split Barca and put Villarreal up 4-2 was a thing of beauty

Malcom having a barn burner first half causing the “why doesn’t he play more” comments and then foregoing the pass back to Messi in the second to set up a tap in equalizer to answer the question and switch the momentum in the second half makes a lot of sense.

    Cazorla deserves better.

But I really want the home game I’m going to in May to be a title celebration.

Those Messi/Suarez goals aren’t even the best two goals in the game. Insanely fun game.
