Yeah, we actually are since Woodward left. Richard Arnold took over and unlike Woody he accepts that he knows fuck all about football and has been working to get actual football people to surround him. We finally hired a DOF, John Murtough who has been the one that pushed for Rangnick to come in and was involved in hiring Ten Hag. Just last week our chief scout and head of global scouting left before being pushed and rumours are we’re interested in bringing in Paul Mitchell to replace them.


So, changes are being made, without them I'd say there is 0 chance Ten Hag would be the new manager. It would have been Poch. Whether it works or not, is still up in the air.

 

All the English sources + Fab are saying Conte is committed to Spurs and not the one leaking these rumors, and that he hasn’t even spoken to PSG. French sources, reliable ones, are saying Conte has given his demands and is ready to takeover the job.

 

The issue os that moving players on is harder than ever. I’ll be intrigued to see how they do though:

Zinchenko will likely play higher up and come back when getting pressed heavily. Especially with those three on the backline.

 

I know this is easier said than done, but just keep the ball from Modric/Kroos and you never have to worry about it getting to Vinicius.

Be interested to see Bernardo Silva's positioning. Him pressing Kroos could be a way for City to stop Real's build-up but I think Guardiola might go double pivot with Rodri and Silva cutting off the space in front of the CBs that Benzema likes to move into, and De Bruyne getting around Kroos.
