Trent had to make that foul. Pathetic from Keita before then.

Pickford's facial expressions are almost on par with Phil Jones

A part of me thought Origi was considered going for the bicycle kick there on the cross from TAA.

Just because Salah's playing wider doesn't mean Trent has to play so narrow in possession. Means he's not in a position to defend Gordon on transition, and Matip doesn't have the pace to handle him 1v1. Annoying that Klopp isn't correcting this.

Origi now taking the responsibility for giving the ball away with back flicks.

Hmm Liverpool get a free kick in their box for the same challenge and Evertong didn’t get a penalty for

Richarlison is so selfish. Runs in blind alleys rather than passing.

Finally got the balance down the right with Henderson on. Salah and Trent with support.

That's the most stressed out I've been during a match for a while.

Despite how bad they've been this season, Everton have a knack of putting in organised, focused performances against the big teams. Klopp can take credit for the subs but he played a very risky game, especially on the right - Salah isolated wide for most of the match, Trent often standing 20 yards inside, leaving space in the channel outside Matip, and cutting off crossing angles for himself. Keita offering little support to either of them - no overloads or pressing.

Change to 4-2-4 at least meant Origi offered Salah someone to combine with but we were still so open down that side; Fabinho was never going to be able to adequately get across and cover against Gordon either. It was only when Henderson came on that we finally cut that flank off, aided by Gordon switching sides, but it could easily have gone wrong, especially if the penalty shout early in the second half had been given.

Agreed - I had fun watching the last 30 minutes though despite it not being pretty.
