I GET IT that we've never won IN Costa Rica, and that the result here (barring the unthinkable) doesn't really matter as long as our name is in the pot on Friday ....

however it's still uninspiring play thus far and sure as shit doesn't instill supporters with a whole lot of confidence as to what we can actually accomplish in Qatar.

But talent is really well complimented by experience. This squad is obviously not even remotely the most experienced. Disappointing, yes, but not entirely unexpected.

I think I'd rather us have a "gut check" (don't really think it's one, tbh) loss and qualify than win and miss a learning opportunity. Keylor Navas... what an immense player.
