I was at the game last night and was slightly taken aback at the force of the booing when his name was announced.

I'm really surprised by the whole Maguire thing. His England performances haven't dropped off and while his club form is in a hell of a slump, he's not done anything to cause England fans any particular worry. It's not a million miles away from what's going on with Bale (obviously the club situation is a bit different), but I can't imagine the Welsh fans booing him because he's frozen out at Real.
