Liverpool are just brilliant. I had this down as a loss anyway so this isn’t too big IMO.

Again, we’ve played well, and improved a lot, but we still have some way to go.

Would much rather Liverpool win the league than City. Can’t wait to watch that game next month.

  5. Yeah, I’m definitely rooting for Liverpool in the title race. Also wouldn’t mind them winning CL.

Two penalties go against Juve? Oh wait, this is the Champions League not Serie A!

I hope we get Villarreal-Benfica so at least one “minnow” makes the semis.

    Would love that.

So 3 clubs from Spain, 3 from England, 1 from Portugal and 1 from Germany into the next round. Draw happening on Friday?

That video of Rashford sticking his finger up at the United fans seems totally not at all worrying.

He needs to leave that club and move somewhere he can fulfil his potential and regain his confidence and love of football.

If anything, we need more players that show real emotions. I don't need any more players that show some pre-thought marketing reactions and give interviews that consist of the same hollow phrases that everyone uses. I understand why they do it but football would be so much better if we could go back to the good old times, where not every slightly controversial reaction led to a complete outrage by the media.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

I'm sick of how entitled fans are at this point. What you're watching there is a guy leaving a bad day at work, to a baying crowd. There's a clip of Maguire getting it in the ear from them too. The fact that people film it, looking for reactions (same with the Phil Foden/family thing a few weeks back) is just so obnoxious.

They'll also be the first ones to cry when Rashford next scores and shushes them or something. Pathetic.

I think there needs to be some reminder that fans do not have a right to access the players and it's a privilege to get a picture or an autograph or whatever. You pay your money to get into the ground and you can boo your mind out, but outside of that scenario, you get to shut up.

  14. Arteta complaining about Arsenal's schedule this week is odd considering how light their schedule has been overall in 2022.

Love to see Xavi's insistence on playing Eric Garcia over Araujo has led directly to us being down 1-0.

Got to think tonight is a huge, huge game for Everton. One of the more beatable teams left on their schedule (as consistent as Newcastle have been recently).

It’s unreal how good of a job Xavi has done turning that team around. Yes they’ve made some good signings too, but that team was lifeless before he came in
