Orlando City with an embarrassing loss to the club that has been the worst over the last 3 seasons. I've never seen so many clear cut chances booted into the stands. And we have the Galaxy next week. Not too optimistic about our chances.

    What an absolute clown.

Reminds me of when Dier gave the big one when they went 1-0 up in the NLD, only to lose 3-1.

wanted to see PSG beat up on Bordeaux today, but just woke up from the jet lag and the game starts in less than two hours. Doubt I’ll make it.

  4. Romero isn’t even the biggest clown in this picture.

I'm just glad we can agree they are both clowns.

Genuine question... Is Maguire the worst value for money signing in PL history?

  6. He’s up there.

And even tho Grealish hasn’t been like awful, I think he could be if he doesn’t greatly improve. 100m for bench player level play so far.

    hmmm

Us paying £35m for Andy Carroll didn't work out too well.

    Drinkwater at Chelsea?

Best part of this was Romero completely losing Ronaldo for his third goal. What comes around…

  9. Romero is definitely going to be a player every other team hates and I’m good with it lol

Yeah Maguire certainly ain’t worth the money we paid but for the most part he’s solid unlike others like you say that had absolutely no impact whatsoever. Last year he was most good to quite good. I actually think the way we set up works against Maguire, with a keeper that will come off his line and help structure the defence he would be better but we don’t have that, I’d put his bigger struggles down to the make up of the team in the defensive third.

Even yesterday Maguire was very good, even with the own goal he had to go for it, if he didn’t Romero was right behind him. If he doesn’t go for it, Spurs get a tap in. Tough moment. I thought Romero was offside, but you have to play to the whistle.

  11. 55m or whatever it was for Ndombele has been our worst deal in awhile.

Lukaku is probably up there too tbf. £100m and he's been absolute shite after game week four.

Lukaku seemed like the absolutely perfect missing piece for that Chelsea team and he’s literally being shown up by attacking midfielders playing false 9s. Easily the worst, imo

Van de Beek for €40m was worse for us too.

Not sure what's going to hurt more; the run I just finished or watching Chelsea Newcastle.

Nice "Roman Empire" flag to open the game ...

They really put Villa-West Ham on tv and Chelsea-Newcastle on Peacock. Ugh.

What was the last certified hit transfer Chelsea made actually, other than Thiago Silva?

  19. Jorginho?

Kante, Thiago Silva, Jorginho, they don’t make the Champions League the season they won it without Pulisic dragging them across the finish line the season before (but admittedly he’s been up and down for them)… Ziyech, maybe? He scored in the UCL final.

    Watford and Leeds are leading.

    Everton are in BIG trouble.

Kante joined them 6 years ago, Jorginho 4 years. Havertz was the one who scored in the final no? But that’s what I mean Pulisic, Ziyech, Havertz have all been inconsistent. Then you have Werner, Lukaku etc. has Chilwell been great for them?

I mean shit, we aren’t in a position to laugh just one of those things I thought about when Lukaku was brought up

Ah right, yeah. I get those two confused because they were signed around the same time, tbh. Chilwell was great until he got injured. Did his ACL earlier this season, yeah?
