Conte has no adaptation in game planning. If we can’t counter, we’re awful. I know options are limited, but idk. If the first game plan doesn’t work they just crumble.

  2. This has been an issue with the last 3 managers. I think we're lacking creativity in the midfield and it's really holding back the team. It's so hard for us the progress the ball unless it's a deep ball from a CB or Kane dropping down to make some world-class pass. Otherwise, we turn it over and the defense is under pressure.

  3. Bencantur has helped with that issue, but even so, he is not an attacking midfielder. We need to invest in a 10 this summer.

RWB and an actual attacking midfielder are desperate needs.

I will go ahead and speak for Alemany and offer you both Riqui Puig and Sergi Roberto for €50m and a right of first refusal on Kulu.

  6. What happened to Puig? I remember Poch raving about him when he was still with Spurs and Barca refusing to sell.

He mostly just has the severe misfortune of being not as good as Busquets, Pedri, Frenkie, Gavi, or Nico. He looks alright when he does play, but he doesn’t get enough playing time to be really sharp.

He also keeps trying to stay and prove himself when he really should’ve done a loan or two to address said sharpness. The time under Koeman killed him. There are passes the other five do in their sleep that he can’t pick out just quite yet. He’s got all the tools to be something special.

Kinda surprised Bezos/Amazon aren't very vocally in for Chelsea after it being obvious they want to buy a club for awhile now. Especially when the flagship American player is there.

I imagine it would be more profitable to be eventually the PL rights holder for streaming than actually owning a club.

this still makes me cringe/laugh. i have coworkers who have never watched a game in their life who can name ronaldo and messi, but not a single us player.

Will be interesting to see if they get an owner that bankrolls them or one that is looking for returns. America owners in particular are very risky in that manner

Anyone holding Ted Lasso against American coaches either hasn’t watched Ted Lasso or Nate is their favorite character.
