my favorite thing about this is it shows just how ridiculous Messi/Alba and Messi/Alves were. I think both are in the triple digits.

 

Sweden and Poland refusing to play Russia. So... either Russia gets a free trip to the World Cup, or they get kicked out. Should be very interesting to see what UEFA/FIFA does.

I love how Rangnick’s first through when we aren’t winning is to take off our midfield for attackers.

That draw could be hugely costly in the top 4 race. United’s next three fixtures are City, Liverpool and Spurs…

If you think it's going bad for your team, try having to play City on the same day Burnley get a point in a relegation battle. We could be in the relegation zone come midweek if Burnley get another result v Leicester :sad:

I hope that goal isn't too demoralizing. We played very well in the first half but there's only so much of City knocking at the door you can take.

Does this Abramovich news mean they'll slip out of the big clubs? I'm going to show my age here but I can remember when Chelsea used to struggle to fill Stamford Bridge with only 28k spectators. It would be madcap to see them going back to those days again after what we've seen since Abramovich started investing.

 

Feel like with how strategically that is worded that he will take more of a backseat role but still support financially. If he fully pulled out they would seem to be really fucked as he is owed some wild amounts back that he gave as "loans".

 

He is technically an Israeli national now too if I am not mistaken so not sure how all the sanctions and account freezing fully impacts him.

 

That Chelsea thing is a big nothing PR move. He still writes the checks. Unless he’s fully removed, nothing is going to change with them.

 

Be interesting to see if this is a precursor to him getting sanctioned heavily and what might happen to the club if it does happen.
