Wait until he joins Caernarfon Town on a free. Madness.

This is your life, are you who you want to be?

No way that ends well for Spurs.

  3. He was pretty good last year tbh. And he’ll most likely be on way lower wages than he is now.

I know its a bit of a cliche, but man it's going to be interesting to see how the three of Arsenal, Spurs, and United handle their business this offseason. All in similarly precious positions but with very different strategies for going about rebuilding.

  5. I finally have hope for the Spurs rebuild because it appears Levy will actually listen to Conte, and that Conte wil actually be blunt with everyone. His first window we got rid of a few names that should’ve been gone in the summer or earlier. Hopefully the upcoming summer it’ll be a little easier to find their replacements.

Sporting Clube have never lost a two-legged tie v English opposition. I can see that changing this time around in all honesty but I'd love it not to.

I’m weirdly optimistic. Especially if we get fourth (and we should now).

Purchases like Tomiyasu, Rasmdale, and White just do a lot to make me think we really know what we are doing now. We have a vision and we know exactly who to get to make it work. Realistically we need a striker and a CM for the first 11, plus a couple bench players.

I look at United and think there is WAY more than just the manager and players wrong with that club, so I’m not overly concerned looking over there. Spurs are a mystery, and obviously they have a good manager, so we’ll see, but IMO they need a lot of new players. 2 CBs, a RWB, a CM at least.

So its a bit of a Derby Day for the four City starters that have previously played for Benfica tonight, just an interesting thing I saw on Twitter.

  9. Conte is certainly not wrong when he says Spurs have a long road ahead. He’s said it repeatedly. Yet every time we lose everyone freaks out and thinks he’s going to walk. He clearly understands our situation and signed up for it. So us struggling doesn’t make me scared he’ll leave. He’s preaching patience, so I hope he gives the club and fans the same.

With that said, he still needs to be backed. We can’t expect him to make us good again with a dysfunctional squad. I don’t think that necessarily means we have to buy big money players or bust. The more likely scenario is one or two big names along with a handful of young players to develop.

We actually do have a decent amount of young talent, but we just need to reshuffle some pieces and get the right mix of players. We’re a little disjointed now. Too many players that prefer different systems from each other.

Yeah, as someone who sort of follows Sporting, i knew this would be ugly lol. Could be a massive score over two legs.

I don't think I've seen a dalot pass that actually leads a player. The one to elanga earlier he had to slow up to receive it

United were so, so bad that first half, and Brighton have thrown it away in the space of two minutes.

Finally VAR. Absolute fucking joke shop refereeing to give a yellow card for that. Then to book our players.
