This is not in relation to your post but I really cannot stand the prevalence of people referring to managers and coaches being "found out". It's nonsense in almost every example.

 

Charlotte FC is streaming their friendly in a few minutes and it's the first time any of the fans have been able to actually watch the team play. Looks like a couple of the assumed starters aren't available tonight but still excited to see them in action. I really like the midfield we've built so will be watching that closely.

I’m not sure we have the players to run Conte’s system right now. Back 3 just isn’t good enough (Dier coming back will actually help) and the midfield isn’t strong enough. We get bullied against any press.

The formation change certainly improved us but it was too late. Wolves went into lockdown mode and were so difficult to score on. We played fairly well that second half but they just shut down everything.

 

Phew. That was a hard second half watch.

ASM really needs to learn when to distribute the ball, rather than dribble. Wood got into some great positions today and ASM just bumbled around rather than releasing it.

Big 3 points, but worried about the injuries and knocks.

Also, that's another good, industrious game from Willock. Hopefully he can keep playing his way into form, because he fell off a cliff during the Bruce times.
