So they’re allowed handball and blatantly knee our players in the back. Cool.

    hmmm

I'd long forgotten about the existence of Lee Peltier

I’m enjoying our players actively avoiding winning corners because we’re so shit at them.

I do wonder what football would be like if refs called foul throws. There’s been about a half dozen by both teams here :crylaugh:

    @fangclubb Prestigious

Thoroughly outplayed them, could have double digit goals and were going to fucking lose on penalties :crylaugh:

What is with us and insane penalty shoot outs! This is mad.

Man, that’s the one guy I didn’t want to miss for United lol

Yeah really hoped it wouldn’t be him.

like yesterday (although not as bad), I thought the run up was too short.

The absolute meltdown over that result from United fans and non United fans/journalists etc. is really funny. We absolutely pelted them and on another day we win handily. Shit happens in cup football, it’s why cup football and in particular the FA Cup is special. We lost, that’s shite but it’s not the death of the club. One of our chances hits the net, the ref doesn’t miss an obvious handball and we win. But nah gotta go full scorched earth.

Plymouth 1 nil up. It won't last but I'm delighted for their fans.

Wow what a chance missed for West Ham. 3 minutes plus stoppage time to hold out. Everything crossed.

  19. West Ham clearly offside on that goal right?

Yup, I think so, but no VAR so that's how it goes.

Unlucky for Kiddie but they can be hugely proud of that.

Great start for Lampard. I won't get too carried away but nobody looked out of place today. Gomes was the highlight. If Lampard can get him on the ball more like he did today then maybe we'll get to see the Gomes who once had a Balon d'Or clause put in his contract just after he left Valencia.

Newcastle will no doubt be a much bigger test but I think the players will be up for it after seeing the difference in performance today.

Got to say, the FA Cup is Spurs best chance to win a major trophy in a long, long time.

Arsenal and United are out and Chelsea are struggling against bad opponents. You’d put them at third favourites now I think.

  25. It’s nice to see Hojbjerg playing well again.
