The Raith Rovers signing goodwillie is an absolute bonkers decision from the club generally. But even more so when your main sponsor is a well known feminist.

I think someone mentioned he has played for another team for a while. That team was Clyde that are in 3rd league in Scotland. So as you can imagine, probably not enough fans to cause a stir.

I am not defending goodwillie but I am still confused how his rape case did not get taken forward by the prosecutor fiscal as a criminal case due to lack of evidence. However, it was then tried as a civil case which seems to have a different level of reasonableness to be found guilty. If memory serves me he didn’t do jail time, but got a financial fine.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

I think the Jonas one was related to performance bonuses or a contract extension near the end of his career. The management at the club treated him appallingly when he had cancer and he took them to court over it in the end. In his first 5 seasons he played 153 matches, so I'm not sure when we'd have been ducking a signing related clause. :crylaugh:

He played an absolute blinder for us against West Ham to keep us up on the last day, in his last game. Fuck John Carver.

the audacity of white men in power to make just the dumbest decisions never fails to amaze me. thousands of pro players who are not rapists to sign, it's really not hard.

  7. Berhalter is getting absolutely dragged since Sunday. I get being upset but isn't this level of criticism a little excessive? A lot of fans like to boast about how young we were while winning multiple competitions over the summer and how doing so was such a great achievement but don't recognize how a young team might also struggle in big moments.

I'm not saying he's free of criticism or anything but it all just seems like an overreaction.

It's going to be 4*F (-15*C) at kickoff tonight vs Honduras. Maaaaaaaaaybe should have put this one inside the Vikings stadium.

The three coldest games in USMNT history have all been played in this window. Using the indoor stadiums of Minneapolis and Indianapolis were right there with nearly identical travel as the venues chosen.

Ha, USMNT have gone a step too far in being spiteful to their warmer blooded CONACAF cousins.

  16. Another report said Spurs, Porto, and Diaz were all in agreement but Mendes vetoed the deal and Liverpool came in.

  17. Spurs fans rejoice

  18. I love the negative headline for this when it's something fans have been wanting for a long time

  20. Dybala deal was agreed between clubs but he has that imaging license that screwed everything up. Grealish was agreed to and the player thought he was a Spurs player, new ownership came in and nixed the deal. Bruno was negotiated and they ended up with Ndombele and Lo Celso instead. I don't know what happened with JWP though.

It's definitely not as simple as Levy didn't back him (although I'm sure Levy has been a problem in some areas).

  22. Paratici came in as DoF and has since start revamping the entire scouting network. Hitchen’s role has likely taken a hit. Everton want him as their DoF. He’s seemingly taking it. This type of thing isn’t some huge indicator of turmoil at Tottenham.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Everything is always spun in a negative light with Spurs lol

Hitchens probably lost power with Paratici coming in, and decided he wanted to get power back so is leaving for Everton. It’s really not that big of a deal. Dude wasn’t even that great to begin with.

$20 that Hitchens is Law’s source to begin with lol. Backed out of deals, sure. That’s what happened.

  25. We're spun negatively because we're always the joke of things. Which is fine. We've mostly earned it.
