We obviously are a little thinner than we were a week ago but honestly, those 4 were barely playing for us anyways. I'm very happy to see Gil is a straight loan and that he will be returning to us in June. Tons of promise, he just needs more minutes and wasn't quite ready to get them for Spurs.

I'm not sure what to make of the two incoming players. Both seem like solid additions and I trust that Conte wanted them and all that. Kulu is still only 21 years old which is surprising considering his experience already.

I suspect we'll be playing a lot of 343 considering we only have 4 first team midfielders right now.

Do you know much about Darwin Machis? Sounds like he's leaving Granada for Charlotte FC.

 

Went to his Wikipedia page to try and remember why I recognized his name and saw this: "On 29 April 2021, Machís scored the equalizer against FC Barcelona. Granada would go on to win 2–1, in their first ever win at Camp Nou."

He's a pretty good super-sub for Granada right now, iirc. Exciting at times.

Exactly. If you only score 31 goals in 5 seasons, sustain 12 injuries, and only play in 1/3 of those games across 5 seasons... you have no bargaining chip.
