Canada just pushing all of our attacks to the flanks as much as they can and we just doing nothing with them is just the story over and over again in this game.

 

Needing 1 point out of three away visits to Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica was always going to be a nearly impossible task. We have to win against Honduras and Panama at home.

 

If Arriola had scored that after all the shit I've talked about him over the years...

Honestly Canada looks like a better team. Just a more cohesive unit.

 

If you going to do cool trick passes you have to at least complete them.

 

Any team that uses Sweet Caroline as a hype song doesn't deserve happiness. But we're gonna lose to them.

 

We've made two mistakes, and the first one cost us the entire game. Somehow it's a good indication that leaves a bitter taste in your mouth because we've been absolutely toothless.

Canada HATES us, so yes. It's even worse amongst our WNT.

 

We just look so individualistic in our play and completely ineffective in generating attacks from wide positions. No change in tactics either to try and fix this. You knew this was going to be what Canada wanted when they put this game on such a narrow pitch.

 

You take out Tyler Adams and we lose all sense of connective play.

 

Just beaten by a better team, that plays better together where everyone knows their roles, and had a plan which they executed to perfection.

 

Well deserved.

 

(just remember, you said they were underdogs and we told you they weren't, haha)

 

To me, USA clearly have a better team on paper, but this Canada team is fantastic as a unit and I’m surprised by how technically brilliant they are. They are clearly coached much more effectively than the US.

 

Wow. I like this Canada team lol.

 

I HATE Gregg Berhalter as a coach for the US. We've won some huge trophies, but he has no idea how to play "lesser" opponents. (*cough*)

 

The us in the final third look so bad in the final third.

If getting a point on the road against teams like Canada and Costa Rica is near impossible... you're not a world class team.

sure. Canada has improved a lot. But getting 1 point in two games against them is very not good and should not be a result anyone associated with the UWMT can be at all satisfied with. Now one bad game against Honduras or Panama and we might not even make top 4.

 

They’re so fun to watch.

 

Away in CONCACAF has always been a beast, but it comes down to coaching for me. That match in Nashville had abysmal coaching and so did today's. We should not need half time adjustments to do something with the squad we have.

 

With how disappointed I am with the US, I'm kind stoked on this Canada team. I could easily root for them in the World Cup.

 

I would like to clarify that I am actively rooting for Canada to get into the World Cup over any team but the US in CONCACAF.
