I’m not in full meltdown for one reason:

In the summer a year and a half ago, it got to deadline day and we hadn’t signed a midfielder. But we used the La Liga rules to out advantage and just paid the release clause straight into the bank and there was nothing Atletico could do. Partey was ours immediately effectively because he had already agreed personal terms.

If Isak has agreed personal terms and been around the Emirates, we could do that tomorrow and Real Sociedad can’t stop us.
