Yeah. Neither team should get that huge of an advantage in a final.

 

I wonder if there’s anything that keeps a team from suing a ref crew/league for decisions. With how much money is in sport anymore, if a ref directly contributes to losing a final (I know you’d have to prove it, but today seems cut and dry as an example), I could see legal action against ref/league making financial sense. Especially when refs are not held to any level of accountability like players and coaches are.

Can you tell I work in a law firm? I’d assume somewhere in the league structuring paperwork they prevent this.
