Not too optimistic about Dortmund's chances today. I tend to agree with one of the guys on the Yellow Wall pod; unless Dortmund more regularly show otherwise, this game is probably a safe bet for Bayern.

You can absolutely tell that Dembele doesn't have much match fitness, even with the sparks he's showing. He could easily have four by now and keeps over-passing the trailing runs.

Betis scored a wonderful counter attack, but it would not show the game at all if they get the win. One of the most even matches I've seen in a long time.

  5. What’s up with Dembele’s contract situation? He randomly popped up all over Twitter as a target for Spurs. I don’t know if it’s his agent leaking stuff trying to get a new deal or if it’s genuine.

His agent is refusing to meet with Barca who are trying to sign a new contract because Xavi wants him. Barca's offer is below what other clubs are offering (for obvious reasons), but also... for how injured Dembele has been, I don't understand why clubs are coming in so hot. I'd love for him to get healthy and not have any more issues, but he's been injured 65% of the time he's been a Barca player.

  7. Yeah, I’m with you. I know there is plenty of talent in him, but he is literally never healthy. If we end up signing him I’ll just convince myself that Conte’s insistence on hiring 3 different physio coaches to his staff will be the key to fixing Dembele haha

    Excellent start for Dortmund.

Wow, and we are tied. Muller and Lewa are both so so good.

That error is exactly why I'm not. Dortmund is always good for an error or two that gift goals to Bayern. Because of Bayern's quality it's almost a guarantee. Not my preferred way to concede goals.

Don't forget Dortmund's excellent start where Haaland scored twice within 10 minutes. We still lost 4-2 lol

What’s the capacity in Dortmund tonight?

I think they said 15%? Bayern-Barca will have no crowd in the mid-week.

Davies never really looks like he’s running at full speed. He’s so fucking fast but it always looks like he has another gear

I thought all of Germany is 25%, with a few states like Bavaria at 0?

that can pass was about to be the quintessential example of this. Lucky Coman didn’t bury it.

Davies is crazy good. Bayern has had a few good counter opportunities now. Really enjoying how this game is full throttle up and down the field, not a stale, boring, possession game.

How has Tolisso been this season? I’m remembering the weird rumours of Bayern trying to sell him for €10m or something stupid in the summer

Oh, you gotta bury that Erling.

    Man, why didn’t Sane shoot

He hasn’t had much run. Kimmich refuses to sit and Goretzka is basically the same. Sabitzer, despite poor form, is the next in line. If it weren’t for the rona and exposures for Joshua and Sabitzer with a calf injury, Tolisso wouldn’t be seeing the field.

that said, he had a decent performance last time out. There will be a push to sell this winter because his contract ends at the end of the season. Hopefully this stretch of games can be a showcase to develop some interest.

bayern is also in line to lose 3.5m for every home match without fans, so they’ll need some cash.

    I think it's 25% but 15000 max, so 15000.

not sure how the pretty clear foul in the Bayern box wasn't reviewed (a different player was judged offsides, I get that, but the foul was before ball engagement), but it 100% tracks that Bayern goes and scores almost immediately
