That was miserable. Losing to the worst team in the conference league.

  2. Hope we sell half the squad

I never want to see Dele in a Spurs kit again. Don’t understand how he’s become this awful.

The best bit of that Spurs loss is when the winner went in, it cut to like the 15 Mura fans going fucking crazy.

  7. I think it’s fair to say a good chunk of these players have been affected by the frequent managerial changes. The squad needs to be flipped. Badly. I’ll keep telling myself that Conte only agreed because he was told this is possible.

If not, Conte will definitely walk and then we’ll be completely fucked

I still don't have the highest hopes for this season, but god I'm very excited for the future. we've essentially done a 180 on oleball and vibes.

    hmmm

It was pretty clear very quickly post-Ferguson that the entire structure and football expertise at Man United had been Ferguson. Hilarious it's taken them so long to realise.

For all the faults of Ole, his appointment and the rest, we've done a not toooo awful job since then at improving football knowledge and that structure since Mourinho was sacked. Woodward's replacement, if that ever fecking happens, is said to not want to come in cold like Woodward did. It seems he's trying to improve his knowledge and build a structure beneath him to help.

John Murtough, our DOF went on a fact finding "mission" to Red Bull in 2019 to sound out Rangnick but also learn about the Red Bull structure and how they've grown and created what they have. Just shocking it's taken so so long to actually come somewhat to fruition. We seem to have a decent hierarchy now with Fletcher, Rangnick, Cox, and Bout who are all football guys reporting into Murtough who seems to be a decent mind. Maybe it won't work out, maybe we'll rip it all up in 18 months time but it really feels like we're finally becoming a proper modern club with a vision. Without that, any manager was destined to fail.

I think it’s a good move from United, but i will say he isn’t without some big faults. A good thread here

Let's get these people moving faster!

How effective he is as a consultant going forward will definitely be tied to who replaces Woodward and holds the other front office roles. But full credit that he does seem to have a good eye to long-term club development strategy. As a Newcastle fan, I'd certainly appreciated the rumours of him for our DOF - which obviously didn't come to fruition.

I'm going for Scotland, Czech Republic and Turkey to qualify.

Turkey is mostly wishful thinking though.

Those top two groups are wide open. Should be fun.

  25. Scotland v Wales with winner getting their bid would be an awesome match though. Hopefully they both win their initial games.
