Funny enough, I think it would’ve been fine if they put him in front of a camera where he could deliver a short statement like: “Im grateful to have had the opportunity. I want everyone to know I have it everything I had but unfortunately we fell short of our goals, and the results weren’t there. Given that, there’s been a mutual agreement to part ways. I wish the club the best of luck moving forward, and I will always cherish the support shown to me by the fans.”

Steve Bruce or Phil Neville have the United DNA, definitely the best options for United going forward in the medium to long term.

If I remember correctly, press high and try to force mistakes in the final third. Issues with low block teams though, which is less than ideal
