I started watching ice hockey this season and it’s really entertaining but man I get confused every time they say “X team has got a penalty” because I associate that with penalty in football haha

God I didn’t even realise it was Van de Beek scoring the final goal of Ole’s tenure. Adding to that De Gea saved two (!!!) penalties in his last game, if he saved even one we would have won the Europa League. Funny oul game.

Think Man United can extract Poch from PSG?

I'm not convinced by the Zidane chat. I'm not sure we've seen anything which suggests he's the sort of top line manager that they need to get them moving forward again.

I'm not sure who else is realistically around who can sort what is a pretty talented squad out and build it up back towards title chasing.

 

Only real chance for Poch is if PSG are thinking of sacking him. Would work out well for both teams if that was the case, but I’m not sure it is despite the rumours from Paris.

Interesting at the end. Interim manager till the end of the season. So that's Zidane turned them down then.

There were rumours of Laurent Blanc as interim yesterday. Then maybe they're going to go all out for Ten Haag.

 

I’m happy he’s gone. But it’s too late. 2 years too late really, but it’s absolutely SHOCKING that they wasted the two week international break just to sack him right after. If they were giving him time, why now? If there were question marks, which there clearly was he had to go at the start of the international break. Give whoever is interim time to do something.

 

It’s insane that so many of our fans could see this coming yet we didn’t do any planning for a post Ole United. It’s a bloody joke. I many people in the club need to go.

i suppose the goal is wait till summer and see who’s available or hope to god someone gets sacked/leaves their job.

 

I was looking at the table this morning and was surprised to see Wolves in 6th. They’ve quietly had a solid season. I know they had some injuries in Nuno’s last season, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they are back in the Europa League battle after letting him go.
