    hmmm

Watched yesterday's game again; was actually worse than I remembered. Lost way too passes trying to thread the ball through the middle, which opened up counter attack. No balance in midfield; Fabinho very isolated and Trent played more inside which left a big channel outside Matip. Salah and Mane too narrow - needed them picking up the ball wide and either drawing out a full back or running with the ball towards them. Would've opened up the overlap too. Robertson may find himself on the bench on a more regular basis given how much his performances have dropped off - awful going forward given how much space he had.

West Ham so impressive though. Dropped too deep at times but other than that, defended well. Fornals and Antonio are excellent at shifting and closing down in front of their midfield - they force you at times to drop players back to play round them which then gives West Ham the overload defensively. If you over-commit, the front four are a real threat on the counter. And they're just incredible on corners.

All good info and I appreciate you sharing. I think the more obnoxious (but correct) move is to shift our entire vacation almost halfway around the world to accommodate 90 minutes of a child’s sport played by grown men making millions more than I could ever dream of. Totally rational decision I intend to make and convince my wife of.

Not sure how I feel about it. I guess it was inevitable with how fucked the system is in this country and how fucked NISA is. Sounds like USL will be going pro/rel inside of it so that's good. I guess we can be an agent of change inside the system now.

    I do not exist.

I feel like Lampard would be more suited to Villa to be honest.

hahahaha they’re legitimately trying to ruin the club

Feels like the only way for the team to survive/improve. NISA is dying and has been absolutely useless, while USL seems to have it together, and the pro/rel coming to it will be good.

Yeah if its either join the USL or potentially lose the club then I feel like that is an easy decision.

Apparently Arsenal, City, Spurs, United all want him.

So basically, he'll go City then lol.

    "Di Marzio"

    Yeah, not true then lol

According to Fabrizio, we are monitoring but haven't even made contact yet. Tbh I'd rather have Isak if the option is there but it depends which Big Mik thinks fit into the system best.

Ah, now this would make more sense, although still weird because even if you don't want to join us, you'd use us to get your player a better deal. If you don't you're just a shitty agent.

"Their fear is that the Serbia international has already struck a deal with Juventus and will reject all other proposals until he gets his way, similar to the approach taken in recent years by both Federico Chiesa and Sassuolo’s Manuel Locatelli.

Now Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Di Marzio claims Arsenal are desperate to sign Vlahovic and would meet the €80m valuation in January.

However, while the Gunners are in talks with Fiorentina, they can’t progress because Vlahovic’s agents are not even bothering to pick up the phone when Arsenal call."

  19. I agree with the agent being shitty for not taking calls. You should listen to all offers.

As a rangers fan, I would be pretty disappointed to see Gerrard leave. His background team are highly thought of too, so would be a big blow.

In saying that, this season we have been poor domestically and poor in Europe. Could be a good opportunity to jump ship. I think he has won one in nine cup opportunities. Which isn’t great.

Norwegian press outlet Josimar Football ran an article on the Qatari law system in the build up to the world cup, and received a legal threat. This is their response and it is SO good.

Legal threat from the Supreme Committee

I feel like that's an extremely high risk job for Gerrard. His end target is always going to be Liverpool, and he flops at Villa, he'll be hard pressed to get another PL job let alone Liverpool.
