He has to have seen Poch and Mourinho come and go and their frustrations. No way he falls for the same limitations that Levy clearly has with managers.

 

My only hope is Levy finally realizes he has to do more and be less restrictive. Otherwise yeah no chance Conte agrees. But them circling back makes me think they know they have to give him what he wants.

 

Di Marzio also reporting the Conte stuff. I think it’s more likely that Conte is pressuring United to do something. But who knows.

Gonna be interesting to see how Conte does there. I wasn’t a huge fan of bringing him in after Ole, but seeing a lot of Chelsea fans getting scared at the thought of Conte at us made me wonder.

The most idiotic statement Levy ever has done. I was truly blown away they came out with that and hired him. Dude was doomed from the start.
I do wish Nuno the best. Seems like a good guy, just was never, ever going to be right fit here.

There has to be guaranteed funds or else I cannot imagine Conte would even consider this.

 

Almost what happened with Leroy Rosenior at Torquay. Got appointed, did a press conference, then ten minutes later got a call saying the club had been sold. I think it actually took a few days for it to get finalised so he technically had the job for three or four days but I guess he knew he was probably finished that first day.

 

They have to think it’s getting done, otherwise I imagine they would’ve named Mason as interim in the statement.
