Shockingly, they were all terrible. Funny how that happens.

 

The first half wasn't even our best half of football this season. We gave United some opportunities, got caught in midfield a few times, left space down our right. But we were lethal going forward.

I'm not a good enough writer to do Salah justice but his performances speak for themselves. Best player in the league by a mile right now and while I think the idea of a player being the best in the world has to be taken over a longer time period than two or three months, no one in Europe has performed at a higher level than him so far this season. It's a profound joy to watch him play.

 

So who's coming in next? Steve Bruce or Phil Neville?

The silence of the usual suspect United journalists (Ducker, Stoney, Whitwell, even Ornstein) so far today feels a bit ominous. I was expecting a few tweets or articles early with the usual "Ole has full backing, board not looking for quick changes despite obvious issues etc." lines being out out.
