If it's ball, then it's not a yellow. If it's a foul, it's a red. That's the DOGSO rule. That's what's so infuriating. He took out the dude controlling the ball from behind a foot from the box in on goal. I don't know what else to tell you. Every expert on tv thinks it's a red. Every expert on twitter thinks it's a red... but this ref won't make the call. He's not had the balls to call three now. VAR gives all three. Period.

Edit: if he got the ball, it would've changed directions. It kept going in the path of the runner. Rewatched it quite a few times on twitter now.

not true. look at my first screen clips. he knocks it into Brendan's foot which kept it in his path. Do you not see the defender's foot on the ball? He's touching it. I promise you.

so you're saying the ref is bad at his job because the defender got the ball and thus it wasn't a yellow?

glad you agree the ref is bad at his job

Look at my posts again. The content of my posts have nothing to do with the question of whether the ref is good or bad at his job.

Never thought I’d see the day where there is no obvious front six for the US. Weah looks incredible off the bench. Reyna and Pulisic are known quantities.

This is so, so funny. Total misunderstanding of football, clearly thought up by someone that has never watched a game in their life.

  22. We’re going there short-handed because of the international break and guys having to quarantine. It’s going to be a crazy environment. Dreading it.

Kinda surprised more countries aren't doing things like the US in this regard. Any players that would have to quarantine upon returning to their club if they made the trip to Panama aren't going down for Sunday (I know this affects Antonee Robinson, but maybe a couple others?), but will remain in the camp for the following home game.

  24. Well the guys having to quarantine are Argentine and Colombian so I’m pretty sure almost every match is in a country that’d require quarantine. We asked their national teams if they could come back early, only half the break away, and they said no. Lo Celso and Romero are playing a game for Argentina 2 days before the Newcastle game.

We’re gonna get screwed over, again. Last international break was such a disaster for Spurs and it showed on the field. It’s why I feel bad for Nuno. He may not be the best option for us right now, but he’s had to deal with so much shit since arriving. And it’s going to keep happening every international break.
