Nuno isn’t going to last very long. I was open to giving him a chance, and I still don’t think he deserves full blame, but if the players are checked out this early it’s a problem. We need to keep selling off the dead weight and buying young players like we did with Gil and Pape. This current core peaked like 4 years ago. Move on.

 

Nobody is going to listen to Nuno when he’s on like a 2 year deal and was a very clear last choice. Players like Kane don’t want to be here and aren’t going to give a shit after he tried to get out. Should’ve sold him and refreshed the squad more. But alas here we are. It’s gonna get ugly this season.

 

Sky really fucked up not having Keane in the studio today.

 

These players checked out with Jose and at the end of Poch’s tenure. The common thread is the players. I don’t know what the problem is but they consistently look like they don’t care. Tired of it.

 

Spurs have two players warming up. Can’t see who but i think one is Emerson.

 

Bad attitudes may well be partly the cause but sometimes players who look like they're not bothered are actually just unsure of what's being required of them and freeze up when they're trying to react. Against Palace and in the first half here Spurs have looked stuck.

Nuno could do with simplifying the formation, I think. The midfield three are being asked to cover the narrow front three and they don't seem to know how to actually do this. Partly why there's huge spaces in the channels, in midfield and defence.

 

I still can’t understand sacking Mourinho the week of a cup final to hire Mourinho-Lite a couple of months later. Like, that’s hilarious.

 

We were going to lose that cup final regardless.

 

Really felt like the change was made to distract from the ESL fiasco, not footballing reasons.

Kane’s diving comes back to haunt him. Should have been a penalty but the way he fell down made it look a dive.

 

The way he was clearly kicked made it look like a clear penalty though
