I'm fucking delighted for Noble tbf.

 

Lingard securing the 3 points after the ucl debacle is sublime. Bummed I had to leave and didn’t catch it live.

 

He's been West Ham's designated penalty taker for the best part of a decade. He doesn't have the legs to play a full game anymore.

 

Shout out Brighton. A good, well run team making great decisions in every aspect of the club, and being rewarded for sticking with a promising manager when he had a difficult period.

 

I really like Potter, the work he did at Ostersund was impressive and he's obviously been very good at Brighton.

Well that was fast. This one is probably over.

 

Chelsea looking much better after the half and we look gassed. Game over.

 

This game is frustrating because we haven’t even played poorly. It’s overall been a fine performance. Slip up on a corner and then a wacky deflection and boom.

 

Chelsea are too good this year. Should win the league.

 

Poor second half from Spurs. None of the fight that had Chelsea on the ropes. Seems like they gave up after the first goal.

if Arsenal win 2-0 next week they can go ahead of Spurs lol. Some change from a couple of weeks back.

We are starting to gel a little, but it’s too soon for us. We should improve as new players bed in, and as rivals have European midweek games, but tbh I sadly expect Spurs to win the derby.

 

Watching a ball deflect into the Spurs net off of Eric Dier gives me the sort of high normally reserved for heroin addicts.

 

Maybe. Just think it’s funny because two match week’s ago Arsenal were in absolute freefall and a mess and Spurs were top of the league and flying. Just another reason to not take anything at the start of the season to heart.

We looked overwhelmed in the second half. Chelsea came out a different team and our players had no idea how to respond. Same shit as always. We shipped out some dead weight this summer but the job isn’t finished. Too many guys have been on this team for far too long.

 

I just hope Nuno gives that lineup some time though, I hope it doesn’t turn into jumbling them up over and over
