All Burnley's game for twenty five minutes. Everton playing three centre backs to cover the two Burnley strikers but without the get out that Calvert-Lewin provides. Only came into it a little when they started winning the ball in midfield. Couldn't keep the ball or get up to press for the majority of that half.

 

That's surely a reckless challenge from Tarkowski.

 

Amazing how much Burnley get away with just cause there's some romantic notion that they play football from a different era.

Not sure how we won 3-1 after that first half of playing into the grocks hands but I'll take it. Three at the back obviously wasn't working.

 

Massive fan of games that are torrid for ages and then explode out of nowhere. Everton changing to a back four wasn't particularly surprising but bringing on Gomes and going to 4-3-3 was clever.

Also a big fan of Gray scoring three in the first four games for my fantasy team. I like taking a risk on a differential at the start of the season but I think this is the first time it's really paid off.
