Danny Mills is a prick who never got over being EMBARRASSED against us, but this speaks to a wider issue i believe with punditry currently.

Not only is the quality lower than ever, but people are chasing controversy. People choose a team to shit on and twist EVERYTHING into that narrative.

For instance, you have Sky Sports pundits pretending to talk to Tamayasu’s agent to shit on him when he clearly has never heard of him. There was also Luke from The Football Ramble saying “all these targets for Arsenal, they were the only club interested” as if Spurs weren’t looking at Tamayasu.

Gary Neville meanwhile is saying our transfer strategy doesn’t make sense, which explains he failed at Valencia. It’s obvious we are aiming to buy young, technical players who can grow with the club and aid our style of play. Whether we are succeeding is a different matter, and a subjective one so far, but to claim the strategy makes no sense is insane.

At one point this was Spurs, at one point United, i remember it also being Liverpool. A team becomes a punching bag. I just hope we turn it around.

Don't know about the rest of you USMNT fans, but I'm pretty stoked for these qualifiers. Bummed I have to stay up so late tomorrow to watch the first match but hoping it will be so damn worth it.
