Leeds fits that description but I'd probably also include Leicester for entertainment value overall even if their style of play isn't as entertaining as Leeds. I still enjoy watching them play against most clubs. I'd also say that as of late, Leicester's ownership/management has been the envy of the fans of big clubs. That could be another important factor in deciding which club you'd like to support.

i tore a hole in the fabric of time Moderator

Lo and behold, they scored attacking that side. Let Tottenham buy Emerson and keep Aurier.

Can I suggest three? Leeds, Aston Villa, Brighton.

Leeds are a huge club from the north of England who have just gotten back to the PL. They play a very entertaining style of football under their crazy manager Marcelo Bielsa. I should add however, that they do have some very questionable small groups of their fanbase unfortunately, which is why there is a well known saying "Everybody hates Leeds".

Aston Villa have won the European Cup (now the CL) before, but only got promoted again recently after a difficult period (like Leeds), and are based in the second city of Birmingham. They are a club with huge resources now and seem to be going somewhere so it could be a fun time to join in.

Brighton are not a traditionally big club, but have been in the PL for a few years now. They are based in the only city run by the Green party and as a city it's probably my favourite in the UK (Coastal, LGBT & vegan friendly, youth orientated, etc). They played some very fun football last year, but until recently the results didn't follow. I wouldn't expect them to get relegated, but that doesn't mean they won't ever.

Alternatively, you could support one that is both a big club and likely to get relegated and support Newcastle (or Arsenal lol). Just for the absolute chaos and bants.

That whole “not giving soft free kicks” thing didn’t last long. Wolves are getting freed every time they dive anywhere near one of our players :crylaugh:

We genuinely haven’t touched the ball in the last 10 minutes though. Fecking hell.

Wolves are playing better “Bielsa-ball” than Leeds here. Fucking nutters don’t stop sprinting. They’ve been so good.

Olympics worthy dive from Jimenez there. Of course they get a free kick for it. Two turns in less than a metre!

We should be 3 or 4 down. They’ve been so much better than us it’s not even funny. Deciding to play Pogba in a midfield two is just a brain dead decision I can’t wrap my head around it. We just can’t get near them, and onto the ball.

The last few weeks has shown us that if Pogba is playing, it should be LW or not at all. Total liability in the pivot. Fred hasn't been great, but he's getting hung out to dry trying to cover the whole midfield on his own.

Atrocious half of football from us.

It's a matter of when not if Wolves absolutely rinse an opponent this season. Surely they can't go on playing this Gung Ho style without scoring?

surely Adame will find his finishing touch sometime

I’m pretty fecking sure Ole hasn’t watched Wolves this season and set us up as if it was still Nuno Wolves. Because playing that midfield is absolutely inexcusable

Surely now is the time for the lesser spotted VDB? We need another body in the midfield. Get James off for him and switch to a 4-3-3

Good info! I’ve heard the fuck Leeds meme before but didn’t know that was the reason why. Brighton it is (villa was also one I was considering, too, especially with their new found funds).

    thanks!
