He rules lol - literally acts like players in my local amateur football team do; drinks, smokes, partys way too much, arrogant/selfish as hell. He is 100% a prick for sure, but is an elite-level player who is the complete midfielder like those stats @Swoos posted show. Gotta take him!

  4. This guy is usually pretty reliable with Spurs stuff.

Not sure how I feel about Emery. I like him, but it seems a bit underwhelming.

    I do not exist.

Would Arteta have been more or less underwhelming?

Definitely more. At least Emery has a good track record.

    Vardy must be devastated.

Vardy off the bench in the Torres role makes a bit of sense for their style of play, tbh, even with Griez staying.

There were rumours Atletico wanted Vardy but not if Griezmann stays I guess.

Kane getting the England captain is just...wow .He's a fantastic player but he's not a leader. How are the players gonna understand him??

  14. Hilarious joke

Henderson is the right choice for captain, but Kane is ok I guess if he can lead by example and score some damn goals!

  16. They’ll be lucky to make it out of groups despite whoever is captain

Nah, in all seriousness; I like Kane as a player. He's one of the few English players that I feel would further benefit from a move elsewhere and am surprised Spurs have managed to keep him so long. Do I think he's captain material? Not yet, maybe in a few years but there are others that I would choose before him.

Having seen our group, we should make it out blindfolded. Anything further is probably beyond us though.

  19. He stayed at Spurs and became captain of the national team. So I think he’s benefiting just fine from staying at Spurs.

I think I would've made Cahill the captain.

Right, what's everyones club, and who do they want to sign this window?

Personally, as an Arsenal fan, I want William Carvalho from Sporting for the holding midfielder role, who hopefully should be obtained for around 30m with all the turmoil there, plus a goalkeeper to replace Cech. I've seen that we are interested in Toulouse gk Lafont, who is 19 and an Arsenal fan, but we need someone who can step right in which is difficult.

Unsure whether he's going to be a first choice centre back. He was out of the Chelsea team for quite a while this year.

Two fullbacks, a centre back, right winger, midfielder.

Dream summer based on our rumours is Alex Sandro, Alderweireld, Milinkovic-Savic and a decent right winger. I honestly haven't a clue who the right winger would be I just know we desperately need one.

  24. I really want a dope CM. Dembele is probably on the way out. Sissoko stinks. I want Lemina. But I don’t know if Southampton is selling.

de Ligt and Sessegnon would be two super young but talented additions. Would be very happy with both.

Up top, Martial would be cool. I think Poch could bring out his potential more than what we’ve seen from him recently. Bale is rumored and I’d obviously love that but doubt it happens.

  25. Geoffrey Kondogbia is another guy I'd like on Spurs
